Alexandra Gjerlaugsen (b. 1993) is a Norwegian photographer and art director based in Oslo, working across fashion, portrait, interiors and travel. Her work is shaped by a design-led sensibility and an interest in atmosphere, light and visual storytelling—creating quiet, narrative-driven imagery with a refined and tactile quality.

Alongside her photography practice, she works across visual design and creative direction, bringing an art-directed perspective to collaborations, brand imagery and visual communication.



With nearly ten years of experience in the creative industry, her background spans graphic design, visual identity and digital design. She holds a background in Graphic Design and Art Direction from NABA in Milan, as well as a Master’s degree in Interaction Design, informing a multidisciplinary approach that bridges photography, design and visual culture.
